Wish everyone sweet dreams every
night! Great Bear Canada's premiere Traditions
line includes “Sleep Tight Tonight”,
a beautiful Victorian-inspired piece. This cross
stitch pattern is a perfect project for needlework
too!
The full color chart opens up to
a great big pattern (17½” x 23½”)
with easy-to-read symbols. Stitchers will enjoy
the stories that accompany the chart, every time
they pick up their stitching.
Stitched on aida or evenweave; DMC
and Anchor codes. Weeks Dye Works floss would
be great to try too.

Bob's grandparents had a wonderful old grandfather
clock in their home. (It's now in Bob's brother's
home, still keeping good time.)
The face of the moon appears once
a month above the clock's face, the face slowly
moving to show its phases.
Bob remembers the privilege of starting
the clock once a week under the watchful guidance
of his grandfather. His grandfather would wind
the clock and then let Bob lightly push the pendulum
to get things ticking again.
Bob says it felt like he was starting
time.
Other uses for this pattern
This pattern will soon be stitched with a little niece or nephew's
nursery in mind. I will add the baby's name, birthdate and weight
after he or she arrives. The moon would also look good on a round
pillow, on large-count Aida cloth to make it bigger. Or what about
on top of a shaker box?
